If you have a lot of emails, it can be a good idea to look through them. You might find that you have some important ones in there and want to know what they are about. Or maybe you have just missed something. Either way, if you have a lot of emails, it is worth checking them out before deleting any old messages.
When looking through your Bigpond emails, remember that they will be saved in a folder called “BigPond Mail”. This is where all of your mail is stored when viewing it on the internet or using an email client (such as Outlook or Thunderbird). - Open the ‘My Account’ page.
- Click on the ‘Account Settings’ link at the top of the page. This will take you to a list of folders associated with your account.
- Locate your email address (it may begin with ‘[email protected]’), click on it, and then click on ‘Settings’. This will take you to another page where you can change your password; reset your PIN code and other personal details about your account including contact numbers for technical support.

How to Change Your Bigpond Email Account Settings?
Changing your email account settings is a very simple process and you can do it on your own. Here are the steps:
- Sign on to your Bigpond email account that you have with the same username and password that you use for other services.
- On the top left corner, click on My Account and then choose Change Settings from the drop down menu.
- Select Email Settings from the list of options and then click on Change My Password button at the bottom of page and enter new password for your account.
- Enter confirmation code sent to your registered mobile number when logging in to change password so that it is not rejected by server when logged in again after changing password as per BigPond’s policy as they do not allow any changes without submitting new password first even if it is confirmed by them via SMS or some other method (which I am assuming they use).
How to Log In to a Bigpond Email Account Using Outlook?
Now that you have successfully signed up to a Bigpond email account, you can access it in Outlook.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your Microsoft Outlook email client.
Step 2: On the left-hand side of the window, click on the File menu and select Options.
Step 3: Click on Tools tab and then select Accounts.
Step 4: Click on Add Account button to add a new account from your Microsoft Outlook client.
Step 5: Type in any of the following information required to connect your Bigpond email account with your Microsoft Outlook client (HOST NAME, USER NAME and PASSWORD).

The first thing to do is to check if there are any emails in your inbox. This can be done by going to the top menu and clicking on ‘My Inboxes’ option. You will see all the emails that are stored in your account. If someone has accessed your account without your permission, then they might have deleted some of these emails before accessing it.
